Welcome to the Prayer Eleven website. The aim of the site is to promote Christian prayer and spiritual maturity. It aims to do this by promoting Courses on Prayer through the School of Christian Prayer, and by giving information on ways that we can grow in Spiritual Maturity by going to Retreat Places, or studying the Christian faith at Bible Colleges and other similar institutions, or by choosing to Give a Year to God in his service. But the journey begins as we start spending time with God in prayer.

About me

I am a member of an Anglican church (based at St Mary’s, Wollaton Park, Nottingham) and I have created these courses to help others discover how they can grow in their relationship with God. I would describe myself as an Open Evangelical (for some definitions of what it means to be an Open Evangelical check the Wikipedia or Ridley Hall theological college websites) and I have tried to make my website reflect this view.  See The Unfolding Vision page to find out more about this project, or get in Contact.

From January 2012 the Nottingham School of Christian Prayer has started teaching the prayer course Prayer Eleven for Explorers at Beeston in Nottingham, England. Anyone wishing to register an interest in future courses in Nottingham can do so on-line here.
